Responsibilities

  • Manage AMS and Procurement quality management system processes.
  • Proactively communicate with AMS and Procurement team members.
  • Provide liaison for AMS and Procurement issues with manufacturing, laboratory, supply chain, and information systems.
  • Evaluate AMS agreements and coordinate approval of the quality requirements.
  • Manage required certification documentation (such as ISO 9001, FSSC 2000, FAMI-QS, Kosher, Halal, etc.
    ) with AMS providers.
  • Perform AMS, Procurement, and other supplier/service provider quality and GMP audits that can include manufacturing, warehouses, terminals, laboratories, etc.
    Co-manage the supplier audit database.
  • Perform internal quality and GMP audits and quality vulnerability assessments at Eastman sites worldwide.
  • Deliver quality and/or GMP training courses.
  • Perform Root Cause Analyses (RCA) on quality incidents and other issues.
    Provide customer feedback case analytics evaluation for AMS and Procurement.
  • Become familiar with quality improvement tools such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc.

    Qualifications

    • Ability to manage and organize multiple projects and action items.
    • Ability to easily communicate with multiple organizations both internally and externally.
    • Ability to collaborate and manage conflict across various teams.
    • Ability to self-initiate with a bias for action and decision making.
    • Experience in Quality Assurance (desired).
    • Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement (desired).
    • Experience in Auditing (desired).
    • Willingness to travel as needed (typically about 15% of the time).
    • Bachelors Degree required; BS preferred.

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
