Full-time (scheduled 72 hrs or more per pay period) Job Definition Job DescriptionSCOPE OF POSITION The Courier will make daily pickups and deliveries of medical related items, ie, blood, labs, supplies, mail, etc from, and to, Ballad Facilities, Clients and Customers.
The Courier, in making these pickups and deliveries, will be following a pre-determined Route Schedule as determined by the Courier's Dispatcher, Supervisor and/or Manager.
Additionally, the Courier may be dispatched to make other pickups including 'STATs' of which will be prioritized by the Courier's Dispatcher.
The Courier will be required to maintain a professional appearance and perform the Courier responsibilities in a professional manner.
The Courier will also be required to keep the Ballad provided vehicle clean and perform a daily vehicle inspection in accordance with Dept SOPs.
And, the Courier will document and submit daily Route Schedule reports either in writing or using a Ballad supplied scanner as determined by the Dept Supervisor/Manager.
In performing the daily responsibilities, the Courier will do so in accordance with Dept Operational and Safety SOPs.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must possess an acceptable driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
