4 Kingsport, TN Kingsport, TN Full-time Full-time $18 - $22 an hour $18 - $22 an hour Preferred Candidate will be responsible for the installation and operation of audio systems, LED lighting systems, projection systems, video solutions, and conferencing solutions.
Job requirements include installing and terminating various low voltage wires and cables (CAT6, Audio, etc.
), correct setup for sound management (boards, mixers, speakers), aligning and positioning projectors, mounting video screens/displays, and connecting low-voltage lighting systems.
Applicants must be able troubleshoot and repair the above-listed equipment or recommend the correct replacement solution.
Installation duties include setting up the specified multimedia equipment to work within a business space, with final testing of all the equipment, optimizing the quality of audio and video before turning the final systems over to the customer.
Additionally, work may include assisting Sales Engineering with documentation of completed installations, customer maintenance work performed, and any repairs to AV equipment and systems.
Required Skills - Mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools, good customer service and communication, ability to work as a team, ability to learn and adapt to various installation environments.
Comfortable experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general use of a PC or laptop.
Ability to train and learn new and developing industry resources.
Familiarity with field service work and software troubleshooting, understanding of low voltage systems and telecommunication protocols.
Additional Skills are a plus - experience in multimedia production for audio video, understanding various media workflows, experience with livestream software and setup, basic IT networking.
