We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team as a Floating Legal Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, work well with others, be a multi-tasker, be highly detail-oriented, organized, proficient in all MS Office applications, provide excellent customer service to our clients and have strong communication skills, be punctual and dependable, and have knowledge of the local court systems.
Responsibilities include preparing legal documents and correspondence, managing calendars, filing court documents electronically, scheduling, maintaining court dockets, preparing trial notebooks and exhibits and organizing case files.
Additional duties include working with clients regarding their case, scheduling court reporters and hearings, working with other law firms and a variety of daily administrative tasks supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
